How to Set Up Your Email in Mac Mail
Open the Mail app on your Mac.
From the top menu, click Mail and then select Add Account...
In the window that appears, select Other Mail Account... and click Continue.
Enter the following:
Name: Your full name as you want it to appear in sent emails.
Email Address: your full email address (e.g., yourname@yourbizdomain.com.au).
Password: The password we sent you for your email account.
Click Sign In.
You will see a screen asking for more details. Enter these:
Incoming Mail Server: mail.ranges.technology
Account Type: IMAP
User Name: your full email address (yourname@yourbizdomain.com.au)
Password: Your email password
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.ranges.technology
Use the same username and password as incoming
Click Sign In or Next.
Mac Mail will verify the settings. If it asks about security or SSL, ensure you allow secure connections (SSL/TLS).
Once verified, select the apps you want to use with this account (Mail is required).
Click Done to finish setup.
You should now be able to send and receive emails through Mac Mail with your new account. If you run into any issues or forgot your password, please submit a support ticket to get a reset. Remember to use your full email address and password for both incoming and outgoing servers as authentication is required
How to Set Up IMAP/SMTP email on iOS
Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
Scroll down and tap Mail, then tap Accounts.
Tap Add Account.
Choose Other (at the bottom of the list).
Tap Add Mail Account.
Fill in the following details:
Name: Your full name as you want it to appear in sent emails.
Email: your full email address (for example, yourname@yourbizdomain.com.au).
Password: The password we sent you for this email account.
Description: You can type anything like "Work Email" to help you identify it.
Tap Next.
Choose IMAP at the top.
For Incoming Mail Server, enter:
Host Name: mail.ranges.technology
Username: your full email address (yourname@yourbizdomain.com.au)
Password: Your email password
For Outgoing Mail Server, enter:
Host Name: mail.ranges.technology
Username: your full email address (yourname@yourbizdomain.com.au)
Password: Your email password
Tap Next. Your device will verify the information.
If asked about SSL, make sure it is turned ON or uses SSL/TLS.
Once verified, tap Save.
Now you should be able to send and receive emails with your new account on your iOS device. If you have any trouble or forgot your password, please submit a support ticket for a reset. Authentication is required for both incoming and outgoing server settings, so make sure to use your full email and password in both places.
